Vietnam’s Halong Bay has recently been ranked fourth out of the top 10 most visited natural wonders in the world by the renowned American travel website, The Travel.
Halong Bay boasts crystal-clear jade waters adorned with nearly 2,000 limestone islands. This UNESCO World Heritage Site holds special allure for enthusiasts of sports such as swimming, diving, and rock climbing.
For a long time, Halong Bay has been a must-visit destination for international tourists coming to Vietnam. This heritage site consistently receives high praise from leading travel magazines worldwide as well as international media.
Among the top 10 most visited natural wonders in the world are other famous destinations such as the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA, ranking first with 5 million visitors annually; Table Mountain in South Africa ranking second with 4.2 million visitors annually; and Moraine Lake in Canada ranking third with 4 million visitors annually.
The list of the top 10 most visited natural wonders in the world was selected and announced by the renowned American travel website – The Travel.
The selection was based on evaluations from the Seven Natural Wonders Organization, Google, and the latest surveys collected from Instagram, TikTok, and TripAdvisor regarding the annual visitor numbers.
Previously, CNN’s travel website had voted Halong Bay as one of the top 25 most beautiful destinations in the world. Travel+Leisure magazine has also recommended Halong Bay as one of four ideal destinations for admiring beautiful sunrises and sunsets that travelers can visit at any time of the year.
